Welcome to "For the Love Of Music Cafe'", an enterprise dedicated solely and fully to the promotion of low cost, live music of all kinds in the greater Baltimore - Washington region.
- Here you find a home for a wide variety of musical taste and genre.
- Our goal is to provide a venue for up and coming artists, an outlet for the many extremely talented, versatile, and tremendously entertaining performers, musicians, singers, songwriters, bands and ensembles.
Our first event, entitled "For the Love of Jazz" featured a quintet of the region's finest young Jazz Musicians and was a rousing success.
Then, our next event, held on October 16th, showcased a blues trio, A.D.D., that was equally explosive, fast, & propulsive as well as improvisationally free, melodic and soulful.
We will be taking a few months off, but will be up an rolling after the New Year with a line up of unique, interesting, intriguing and wonderfully talented artists.
Next up will be a talented young folk duo from Gettysburg, PA, STATIC TREES, with some fairly significant influences and performance experience that includes the BWAM Showcase in Nashville, and the Electric Maid in DC. Follow our "Next Event" Link for more information.
