Welcome to "For the Love Of Music Cafe'", an enterprise dedicated solely and fully to the promotion of low cost, live music of all kinds in the greater Baltimore - Washington region.

- Our goal is to provide a venue for up and coming artists, an outlet for the many extremely talented, versatile, and tremendously entertaining performers, musicians, singers, songwriters, bands and ensembles.
Just wanted to let you know I'm planning a spring music festival on April 28th at Oliver's Carriage House, 5410 Leaf Treader Way, in Columbia; doors open at 6:00; Music starts at 6:30.
This festival will be in the style of South by Southwest, North by Northeast and other festival style events with nonstop music, vendor/craft booths and opportunities to mingle with the bands.
We have 6 emerging bands lined up, on dual stages and plenty of entertainment packed into the evening. The cover charge is $10.00, all proceeds (after expenses) go to a charitable Cause. Light snacks (emphasis on light) and soft-drink refreshments will be provided.
Also, we have an acute need for volunteer staff assistance, specifically: 'Roadies' to assist with rapidly and efficiently moving the bands' equipment on and off stage to minimize audience distraction and 'down time' between acts.
